KUALA LUMPUR: Trans-Asia Shipping Corporation Bhd (Tasco) posted a net profit of RM2.77 million for its first quarter (1Q) ended March 31, 2008, up 27.4% from RM2.17 million a year earlier, lifted by higher volume of goods handled and new customers secured from forwarding and sea freight divisions.
